Can I use an LED dimmer switch in combination with a 5A light socket? The bulb going in this floor lamp is an Led E27 bulb with 10W. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Indeed that's one of the benefits of using a 5A socket for plug-in lights as it prevents you plugging something else in (e.g. TV) that wouldn't like being fed by a dimmer.
