Detail drawing wall to floor

Hi all,

 

been a while since I’ve been on here but finally started the timber frame porch. I plan on adding some insulation on the outside of the 140mm concrete blocks.

 

the screed is above the timber sole plate…not sure if that’s acceptable? 

 

any other pointers?

I had to have a minimum 25mm PIR over the inside face of the joists to keep BC happy. So ended with a whole 25mm layer of PIR after the studs and the VCL but before the plasterboard.

I like the cement board to hang down about 20mm below the bottom of the soleplate to create a drip.

Think a 215mm block might work better with the DPC DPM block and junction.

Good suggestion may cut the bottom of the battens at an angle so they come down a bit too. Also thinking of using marmox blocks under the sole plate as suggested on this forum.
