I am doing my own plumbing (design and installation) and I am confused whether I need to submit drawings to my water company. My build is a replacement dwelling and when I spoke to my water company on the phone they said I don't need to provide them with anything as I have not had a new connection.  

Just wondering what others had experienced on this.

I did all my own plumbing in a replacement new build in Kent and didn't bother telling Southern Water I was doing the build. I had already had meter fitted and just replaced the pipework my side of the meter.
