New member learning about floating floors!

Hi, I've recently moved into a property with floating floors. From what I can gather they are concrete with insulation overlayed, then chipboard on top. We are splitting the bathroom in two to create an ensuite. I've seen that build a stud wall on to a floating floor can be problematic. Has anyone built a short brick or block wall directly onto the concrete as a base for a wooden stud wall?
