What is this called please?

Hello,

 

The photos attached show the latches to keep my loft open. One of them is broken as you can see in the photos so the ladder won't stay down. I have no idea what it is called and cannot seem to find one to replace it. Does anyone know what it is called and where I could find a replacement?

Seems to have been updated and the company become hyphenated.

It's worth trying them, sometimes it's surprising how keen they can be to sort you out.

 

Also search for an old hatch on gumtree, eBay etc. Where you can get the bit you need

 

If you have the broken bit it could be welded back together.
