Barn conversion

About to complete on a old barn to renovate, have done renovations before but not a barn. 

The renovation bit doesn't phase me it's all the paperwork with planning, cil, building regs I'm sure I will get my head around it at some point

Some is very specialist and helpful knowledge from study or experience, and some is opinion. Both are very helpful.

 

You will find that it becomes less daunting, and then is a good time for specific questions.

 

I am in the same boat re experience: barn conversions are different in regard to planning and building reg's, and I have learnt a lot in just a few weeks on this site.

 

No details required, but roughly where are you (region) , and what is the barn construction and condition?

Thanks for the kind reply, I'm based in the west mids. 

It's a simple stone barn, nothing special ? small enough to retire and declutter our life's.
