Conor
Anybody have a detail drawing on how they did this? We have effectively 175mm outer skin of ICF (75mm of the actual block, 100mm additional EWI). Architect has suggested a strip of compact foam along the underside of the door frame. DPC below this to meet the tanking on the outside. Door sill to be extended over all of this. NB basement below. I'm doubtful that the 175mm of ICF could sufficiently support a foot traffic aluminium sill? Could I bring the compact foam all the way out? It's not cheap stuff.... Any other suggestions? Lose the additional 100mm EWI at the doors?
Renegade105
Hi Conor, Did you ever get a workaround? Cheers
Conor
Did the above except the DPC on the front of the door block. Used self adhesive tanking membrane right up to the underside of the door frame. Pavrd right up to the door threshold now with no issues.
