Kate Davies
Hello Everyone, After a painstaking 7 months of trying to buy some mud. We completed on the land last week!? After such a slow start we are all of a sudden at what feels like a running pace. This site is a god send! I look forward to learning from you all and maybe even one day giving advice! Kate Davies
Thanks Peter. Ok lets start first impressions again. Here is my show stopper! The foundations have been there for 10 years . These will have to go (they are wrong, installed just to keep the planning) we now have planning for a basement. So my newly bought mud will soon be a very expensive hole in the ground! First point of call is to remove that lovely yellow gas pipe you see running across the plot to supply nextdoor. It's not on any plans and was found when installing these foundations. The temporary UV sensitive pipe (max 3 years life) has been happily living there for 10 years! the beauty of this story is the gas company want us to pay to relocate it away from our plot. Anyone had anything similar? Thinking of just paying to get this sorted ASAP Edited March 21, 2021 by Kate Davies
