Submitting BR drawings before planning approval

Recommended Posts

To shortern our progress on site  i am looking to get my br application in.

The issu is  that we don't have planning approved for a revised scheme, due end of this month, with hopeful no pre commencment condition to discharge.

I don't think the planners will want any changes  but I presume I can tweak the br drawings before approval.

Anything I am missing?

In my experience, there is no connection between planning and building control. We are using a neighbouring LA for building control. I considered going for BR before planning and my architect advised it would be fine. Only consequence of changes would be that I would have to pay them more money to revise the drawings ? The risk is on you, potential costs if there are any changes needed.

I have done the drawings so it's only my time I would waste.

Just waiting on the structural engineer then for their drawing package, and I will get them submitted.
