faby
I'm planning a basement conversion- so I will be excavating under my existing building to create more habitable space- the entire building will also be underpinned. I'm aware of the risks of this type of project so I'm looking for an experienced contractor who takes on work in London and would be grateful to receive any tips/ recommendations. Thank you. Thorfun
sounds scary! can't recommend anyone but I'd be getting multiple quotes and references and visits to past clients. doesn't sound like something you want to be cutting corners on. good luck.

Jeremy Baker
I would make sure you get the PW awards in place first then approach a contractor with a job that is ready-to-go. I would also use a separate waterproofing contractor so the underpinning team install the sump and sub-slab drainage then get a proper waterproofing firm to give a insurance backed guarantee.
