StanEth Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Hey guys, I have been toying with the idea of purchasing an old Nissen Hut and converting it making it really modern and open plan, the problem with this is a lot of the ones I have seen are only 50m2 and id be wanting at least 100m2 for a 2 bedroom property. I currently only need 1 bedroom so I could live with 50m2 but for future reasons id want to add at least another 50m2 if not more to make it 2-4 bedrooms. Im assuming planners wouldn't welcome an extension of some sorts, so how about a basement? I have never considered them and I know they aren't common in the UK so im not sure how they're viewed by planners. Cheers guys!

Had a look at that, I like it a lot but its like 10 times bigger then any I've seen for sale! I have seen small ones about 50m2 that could fit a simple layout only unfortunately.
