neooone
Gentleman, I would like to replace the roof on my shed. Shed walls are cast concrete (2 walls below ground level) so it would make good cellar. Span between walls is 3.3m, (from left to right on the picture) roof length 4.8m, at around 15deg slope. What type of roof construction would you guys recommand? What way would a pro cover roof like that? I was thinking timber wall plates with purlins from wall to wall spaced 100cm with Corrugated/box profile sheets on the top. Is there anything wrong with that? What timber size would I need to cover the span (3.3m)? Thanks.
Mr Punter
I had a corrugated asbestos garage roof replaced with insulated steel / plastisol. You need a new lintel / beam along the front. In Sussex I used http://www.icroofing.co.uk/specification.html
