Vortice Prometeo HR400 MVHR. CO2 sensor help?

I have to go and look at this for someone in the village.  I did not install it.

It is "working but showing the error code ER10 - CO2 sensor not active"

 

The installer that fitted it in 2007 does not remember much and "does not do servicing"

 

I have not yet found the installation manual.  It could be as simple as an option was set to not use the CO2 sensor. But the user manual does not say anything about programming.

 

The owner says "i rarely used the thing, switched on for first time in months in jan and saw this error sign for first time."  So he's been living in a (hopefully) air tight house with mvhr for 13 years, with the mvhr turned off!!!

The owner has contacted the manufacturer, Vortice, and by reply to his email they sent him the full set of manuals.  Very good service from them.

 

The important one for this is the troubleshooting guide which I attach to this post in case anyone else is interested.

Sorry I don't recall how it was resolved.  The troubleshooting download still works for me, but it does not tell you a lot apart from what the error codes mean, not what to do about it.

 

I wish I had posted how it was resolved but I didn't and have no recollection of what was done.
