CodeJACK Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 Hi folks, My wife and I purchased a house last year that was built in 1952 and we are the second owners. Sadly, the purchase price was almost every penny we had so the renovation we could afford at the time, was basic and certainly not thought out. I never knew that air tightness was a thing! The house is great and we can see ourselves living out the years here very nicely however, I'd like to do as many jobs as I can so hence me joining here for advice. Irish law and regulation tends to copy everything implemented in the UK if not dictated by the EU so I figure the advise I get here still applies bar some local stuff that I can figure out. I have an IT background and think I can do almost every job until i get in too deep so please bare with me and go easy on me if I ask dumb questions ? Cheers!
