Hello all,

Looking for a bit of land to build that ‘forever house’ in rural Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, but didn’t realise how hard it would be. Funny how there seem to be big new housing developments popping up all over the countryside, but single plots appear few and far between.

Hoping to sell our Tewkesbury house this year and move into rented while the search continues.

We found our rural north Dorset plot on rightmove as a knock down and rebuild.

 

Any thoughts on what sort of build you want?

Hi vivienz,

ideally 4 bed, three bathroom, open plan living space. Something traditional with plenty of oak and/or stone, and with great rural views. Not too much to ask is it ?

and not more than 45 minutes from Cheltenham, as I still have a job to get to...
