omgboy2
I am moving my front door of my flat. It's an internal fire door. The hall isn't very wide so when the front door will open it will block the hallway passage temporarily. Will this comply with building regulations? I really have no other option. See picture. Mr Punter
If this is worse than the current arrangement Building Control may be able to object. If all 3 doors lead to habitable rooms you may want to hing the door so that the majority are served without blocking the hallway. Also, can you allow the door to swing 180 degrees? omgboy2
Hi, thank you for your reply. All other doors will swing away from the hallway. I should be able to swing the door 180 degrees. It's a renovation of an old flat. Do I need to get planning permission for moving this door? Is there any other solution?
