Dear all,
We have metal web joists and some rather dodgy strongbacks - which I should have got sorted when the timber frame went up (won't make that mistake again) - I'm fixing the strongback issues but where the showers & bath are going I am going to further reinforce the joists by gluing and screwing some 18mm shuttering ply to the sides. It may not make much difference but I will feel better having tried. Cracked on with the first one tonight.
All going well until I put the D4 glue on and got it all in place - the D4 is just too runny - it was dripping out like crazy. So my question - is there a glue which will glue wood to wood that doesn't have the consistency of runny cream?
cheers
