Hi, looking for some advice. I have 10mm pipe feeding my radiators but its not feeding enough water into them as they don't produce as much heat as they should and have some cold spots. I don't think the pipes are blocked up because I have flushed them out with cleaners and removed and cleaned a couple of the radiators out and still not enough heat. I fitted a new radiator which also doesn't produce enough heat although it is a bigger one than the others. I have 22mm mains pipes coming off the boiler which I'm guessing reduces to 10mm under the floorboards upstairs at some point to feed the radiators. (Boiler is in an upstairs bedroom) My question is, can I cut the 10mm pipe at a point before the radiator and attach a 10/15mm reducer and feed the radiator with 15mm pipe? Would this work or would I have to lift the floorboards and replace all of the 10mm pipe completely for 15mm for it to work? Forgive me if its a stupid question, I've not long moved into my own house and still learning bits and bobs ?. Any help appreciated, cheers.

Just about to fit this Hansgrohe controller and wondered if anybody has fit one of these? I am just dithering (as we self-builder's do) because the two inlet connections which are the yellow discs are 3/4" and the two outlets are 1/2" which go th the shower itself. I have fitted 15mm supply pipes but the bit I am dithering over is should I have run 22mm seen as it is 3/4" or am I just over thinking it. I think I need to just get the appropriate fittings and use the 15mm pipe seen as I am using 15mm from the controller to the shower. TIA

When I poured the slab (Passive) I put two 15mm pipes in for the H&C for the island unit. Due to a change in layout of the island unit I still need the pipes but they need to be longer so I either put in some 15mm straight connectors and continue the 15mm pipe or I can push through some 10mm inside the 15mm pipe that I already laid in the slab and have one continuous pipe right through to the base unit that will have the boiling water tap and tee for the DW so avoiding a connection under the island unit. I am doing a manifold system for the H &C system thus avoiding connections in inaccessible places so being anal what do I do. No great problem just be interested to see what people would do? TIA
