Morning all We're living on site in a converted garage. The site insurance for the build covers the building as it's on the main site. However, we're struggling to get contents insurance for our personal possessions. Our regular buildings/contents insurance won't cover it as there will be no main building (having been demolished) and the garage would be classed as an out building. They won't insure an out building or it's contents as a separate entity. Can anyone give any advice or recommend any insurers who will cover contents of an outbuilding (or caravan if that's the way you did it) whilst living on site during a new build?
