  1. Yes we have actually now bought 2 Samsung ovens, series 5. Like you, they’re not up and running yet but look lovely. We visited the big Samsung Experience shop at Kings Cross and there was one on display there. Actually thought it was nicer than the infinite one they had on show tbh.
  2. Does anyone happen to know why Samsung have stopped manufacturing their dual cook oven in onyx black, model no. Nv75t8579rk/eu? I’ve tried contacting Samsung but they can’t give me any information. I can of course buy the exact same oven in graphite grey or the dual cook steam version in onyx black just not the one I mentioned! Thinking of getting the grey version now but just wondering if there’s something I don’t know about? 🤷‍♀️
  3. Has anyone out there got a Novy extractor? Would love some first hand feedback as every kitchen specialist I’ve spoken to including the ones I met at the Home Build Show in London the other day, have never heard of them! Off the back of what one of the members on here recommended, I have been researching Novy extractors because they are powerful and quiet but it’s really hard finding reviews for them. An exhibitor at the show recommended a brand called Falmec. Has anyone heard of them? He said their extractors were also very powerful and quiet. I’ve looked them up and they look great and actually very reasonable but some of the feedback isn’t that great so not sure which one to go for. I need a canopy extractor that’s 90cm black.. Siemens have just brought one out that isn’t particularly powerful save for a boost button which is ‘really’ powerful but not sure it’s that quiet 🤷‍♀️
  4. And whilst on the subject of appliances, has anyone out there got a Novy extractor? 5. Ah that’s interesting because I’ve just been to the Home Build show at the London Excel and whilst moaning to one of the exhibitors about the ridiculous waiting time for certain appliances , he couldn’t stop raving about the Samsung Infinity range! (Apparently they have a new range coming out at the end of the year) They do look really nice and not bad on price point. Have you had them for long? Just hear so many mixed reviews with Samsung. I was pulling towards the fisher and paykel series 9 black ovens but am now wondering if I should go for the Samsungs 🤷‍♀️
  6. Thanks everyone! If I can’t get hold of the studioline ovens for next 6 months I might go for the neff n90 ones as they seem to have good reviews
  7. Oh no, really? We’ve been to a couple of kitchen designers who seemed to think the supply chain is improving now, though when I’ve looked at the studio line ovens online they don’t ever seem to be available! 😬. I’ve got an appointment at the Siemens showroom this week so will see what they say
  8. After many years I’m finally getting a new kitchen built which will be very contemporary but I need all the appliances. I love the look of the Miele black handless ovens but not the price tag so am now leaning towards the Siemens Studioline ovens simply because I want the build quality as well as looking sleek and modern but not extortionately expensive. I’m also going to need a 90cm wide induction hob and thought Siemens again for the same reason though if anyone has any better suggestions please say. However, my fridge, freezer and dishwasher will be integrated so could I not save money by going with a cheaper brand that is still good quality? If Bosch and neff are also part of the BSH Group does that mean they should also be decent? I don’t want to waste money where I don’t need to.
  9. Oh, I thought you had to calculate the cubic metre size of your kitchen in order to determine how powerful an extractor you need for that size room! Have I completely misunderstood????
  10. I'm trying to work out what extraction rate I need for my size kitchen but some websites say L x W x H x 6, 10 or even 12! 6 being for the average extraction rate at setting 3 and 12 being the power boost setting. If I multiply the size of my kitchen by 12 ( ie 6.6m x 4m x 3m x 12) I would need an extractor with a power boost rate of 950.4m3/hr!!!! I don't even think you can get an extractor that powerful! Can anyone tell me what formula I be using as the the most powerful extraction rate I can find (at power boost setting) is about 640m3! Help greatly appreciated.
