Grass and snow but the thing is the roof is at ground level with earth banked up round the sides, it's getting a substantial roof to stop rabbits, rats what ever burrowing into the roof and also we don't want load bearing pillars ruining the open plan layout

Hi building a single storey new build into a bank side roof is going to be a grass roof , do we go for traditional build with a concrete roof or what are other alternative methods thanks in advance

We will be going overboard with insulating the property , and really appreciate the advice from you people who have given positive advice obviously this is totally new to us , so on that note a ashp sounds the way forward and it would be best backed up by solar I'm told, so if we are insulated properly will the ashp and solar be sufficient for ufh and domestic hot water thanks in advance

Which is better air source heat pump or ground source heat pump?
