  1. I only had it done a week or so ago though. The paving was stacked against my house in my alley for a few weeks though. Not sure what's caused it but I'm sure it's not normal to happen so quickly. Unless it's a haze left from mortar which flags were laid on. But hey look brilliant when wet so may use a wet look seal on them in a few weeks
  2. It's Marshall's paving and they advise not to seal it. It's definitely a lighter colour than before laid as I have some spare flags left over. Not sure if it's mortar that has some how rested on it, as if dust has mixed with water and settled on it. Marshall's have said it may be efflorescence which is salt being drawn up from the mortar below and that it could take 3-6 months to remedy itself. I wouldn't seal until all the salt has been drawn up regardless.
  3. Hi all About a week and half ago I had a sandstone patio laid. The patio was laid on a full bed of mortar and we used Cementone wide joint for the pointing (brush in stuff). The colours seemed to have faded almost to the point where they're not distinguishable. We got brown multi pack from Marshall's. It's seems to be worst after wiping or wetting, when it's just dried. Whilst wet it looks fantastic. Anyone got any idea what has caused the fading or greyish white colour on slabs. Attached are some photos. Rob
