Hi Mike, already have the house plans, elevations layout etc, planning has been approved. Yes I need SE, the timber se I’ve been in contact with has given me a cost for structural side, but also wants me to use a timber frame designer, and I’m waiting for them to comeback to me, in the meantime I’m looking for other options/ SE / timber frame designer (if required?, from responses looks like I just need the se to handle it) would You be able to recommend your se as you’ve built using the I beams ? Hi All, planning passed on a new build in gloucestershire, on a sloping plot looking to build a well insulated timber frame. ive been looking at the Timber I beams, airtight board on exterior, insulated with cellulose. can anyone recommend a I beam Timberframe designer ? Thanks Matt
