  1. Thank you all for the information. I understand that I would need the power factor to obtain electric consumption of the heat pump on a daily basis. Thank you for Jeremy for that idea. I was just wondering if I can do anything with the heat compressor frequency to understand its electric consumption without any access to the other data mentioned like the power factor.
  2. I am a relatively new user with air source heat pumps. I need to understand the electric consumption of these pumps, however my access to this data is limited. I have the flow rate and temperature difference of the return and flow which gives the heat power generated. The nominal electric power supply is at 240V and 5A for the heat pump. Is there a way to calculate/if there is formualic expression with the actual electric consumption of the pump from the compressor frequency? The heat capacity of the heat pump is 8.5KW at 2.93 KW input at normal operating conditions.
