Hello Buildhubbers, I'm in the process of buying a piece of land with a small dilapidated brick built property which I hope to replace with a pre-fab timber framed house for myself and similar "granny flat" bungalow for my parents. Completely inexperienced, and seemingly at the start of a very steep learning curve! The property is on green belt land, but I am optimistic that my proposal should get through planning, although my wish for a very large garage for my cars might be pushing it! I have liked a number of house designs by Danwood, and will be meeting their northwest representatives next week for an initial consultation. I'm hoping this will be the start of an exciting and successful project! GT1971
