    Thank you for your reply. Just to confirm I originally had a Thermal Image Survey done and after he imaged the property externally I turned off the heating, he then put a blower on the front door to produce a negative air pressure internally only (any air leakage will then show internally). After some work was completed I had a had another thermal Survey done to confirm if the works were successful or not. I've not had an air test done but the Thermographer can normally tell if your property is air tight or not by how much he needs to turn the blower up on the front door up to maintain the negative air pressure internally. I'll try to upload some imaging if I can.

    Thank you for your reply. The issue is either cold bridging or possibly air leakage? On the Thermal Survey Report it states air leakage. The Thermographef used a blower on the front door.

    Hi everyone and I'm pleased to be given the opportunity to join the forum. Thank you very much for this. I'm trying to sort out a few issues with my property. My property is a brick and block construction with an insulated block and beam floor with a screed on top. The property came under the 2006 building regs. I've had some work done on the thermal issues on my property after having a Thermal Survey done with one area of weakness was at the wall/floor junction area. It was later found that the when the property was first constructed they used a cavity tray at DPC height as there is a gas membrane over the cavity at DPC height and when they had the blown in insulation installed they missed the triangle area in between the gas membrane over the cavity and below the cavity tray. This missing insulation has since been blown in. When the property had a follow up Thermal Survey done the same areas at the foor/wall junction again were shown up as weaknesses?? Having looked at the construction detail in this area I'm thinking now that the perimeter insulation has not been installed correctly in its correct position? The detail I have is that the gas membrane/dpm comes up from under the floor screed at DPC height between the floor screed and the perimeter insulation and then exits under the first block with the perimeter insulation under the gas membrane/dpm?? Is this correct?? Or should the gas membrane/dpm come up between the perimeter insulation a the first block & then exit under the first block so you can see the perimeter insulation as at the moment the perimeter insulation is covered by the dpm/gas membrane. Thank you in advance for any help and information given.
