Does anyone have any experience with the Nano DI Tree?
I am planning on having at least one loxone touch switch per room and then use a Nano DI Tree per room for any other switches or windowcontacts I might need.
It seems to be cheaper per digital input using a Nano DI Tree then the more commonly used DI extension. The problem with the latter is that you need more cable to run a cat cable from your cabinet to all the rooms and you need extra termination and wiring in the cabinet itself as well. (Which,if you use the weidmuller terminal blocks, isn’t cheap either). If I go the Nano DI Tree route, I just need to make sure I get a larger electrical device wallbox so I can wire it up properly and that’s it. I need less cable, no extra termination or wiring in the cabinet since the digital inputs will just be available on the tree bus.
So I was wondering, is there anything I am missing? Does anyone have any experience with them? Maybe using a Nano DI Tree adds some noticeable delay which for a lightswitch is not ideal?
