I have been getting blockage problems in recent months too. We don’t live in a hard water area and are in a modern housing estate some 15 years old. After finding mixer taps and shower becoming less effective to water flow, I decided to check the gauzes on all taps and found what seemed to be white crystals. Initially thought limescale but when tested with vinegar, they did not dissolve which leads me to some sort of plastic. Got a feeling it’s from the range tribune he water cylinder. See the amount of particles in the attached photo. Can someone please confirm my thoughts?
