  1. Final update... It was sorted within a week.. the team were great they came round took the old unit and installed a new one in about an hour. Shame the unit failed but can't complain about sunamp resolving it so quickly.
  2. Quick update on the above.. Sunamp have replied already and have said that an engineer will be in touch soon to arrange a visit. No complaints so far with how sunamp are handling the issue. Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon.
  3. Looks like I'm the next victim... Think I've found the problem, Not sure all that gunk is meant to be in there!! 😂 2 years old, Sunamp Thermino Heat Battery - 210E Always like to give a company an opportunity to rectify before having a proper moan, so will contact them and see what they say. What details have people been using to get their broken ones sorted?
  4. Thanks for the reply. Do you think it's safe to run some kind of descaling solution through it? And would it make a difference? It's the thermino 210e. Mains is 25mm mdpe then to 22mm copper straight into the sunamp, then I'm connected directly onto 22mm outlet on sunamp for testing. Haven't tried running water backwards, good idea.
  5. Hi, I have a sunamp and been using it for about a year. The pressure is pretty low on the outlet. I have isolated everything and just have mains water going straight to the inlet which is about 4bar, then I have a temporary tap connected directly to the outlet which when turned on is at a low pressure. I have very hard water and have only got around to fitting a water softener (not connected for the above test). The pipework going in and out of the sunamp are ok and not blocked but just wondering what internals of the sunamp could effect pressure or be effected by hard water within a year. Is there anything on the sunamp itself I can check to see if it's blocked or effected by limescale or perhaps is it worth running some descaler through the system? Any help appreciated :)
