Loving the 3D model from 2019 above. I had similar done for me by SE. The SE has been so helpful on the excavation, stabilisation, SUDs and treatment plant approvals. SE been my best guy.
So I have had 2000 tonnes (mostly chalk) in Brighton area apparently 1000m3 although my muckaways all quoted in tonnage. My groundworker had his own 20T trucks so did the excavations, site strip, green waste and all muck away for about £19 a tonne. I was hearing £400 per truck for the dedicated muck away guys which may have come down to £300 for clean chalk although they said winter weather makes the earth heavier so not as cost effective. No VAT as self builder.
Not that I've seen it in my pocket, but by stroke a luck a farmer found me! He does farm the bordering land and called me the day we started to take it off our hands. He wanted money for it but he was next door which helped the logistics amazingly. I had given up looking for a farmer (as in I never really bothered as didn't think anyone would want it) - worth getting off your arse and looking I think!
