Just to return to this topic, please, we're looking for some advice.
We're demolishing an old bungalow and build5 a 1.5 storey house (we hope). The initial PRA survey identified a small quantity of old bat droppings in the loft. This has necessitated another £5.5k worth of bat surveys - three in total. They've done the first two and there were no signs of bats. Now they want to take a sample of the old droppings to send for DNA analysis and it sounds as if we would have to make provision for any future - entirely hypothetical - bats. Can this really be true? It sounds ludicrous. Any advice gratefully received.
