  1. It could be likened to it - maybe even could be the next model, I hadn't heard of him though..., thanks for bringing it to my attention. - From the beginning of the project I've refurbished existing building work to get the height and pitch right [these brick outbuildings were originally intended for animals, more often too low to stand up in], and left a wall out so I can use the panels in this way as I span the adjacent concrete footing and may want to use that as the same indoor space, or section it off, same thing happens at the opposite end of the footing so the panels go around that footing and allow for multiple configurations with ample overhead storage on site for any removed panels.
  2. It will be very conventional in the building sense, just that you cannot readily buy the panels I will make as required [as this would narrow down available sizes, like if kits were the way to go the panels would rely upon posts accurately distanced for fixing them on to] - They're merely ply & stud timber frame enclosing 25mm polystyrene insulation, with a stepped top/bottom edge where it comes together and angled outer panel top/bottom edges - to make them work like a tile while being fit inline. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7DQHJSQu6jOVFpWZEdaX0hTMWM The roof is the priority though - and the panels are not going in until the [currently level thru-]floor is marginally higher on the inside.
  3. Hello everybody, I'm getting on with a build project that I've planned for some years, now being certain of what will be done in what order and what to plan for in terms of materials and workload. I'll mainly be here looking for those resources, in particular composite panels to do the roofs with, I'm advised they're not easily available from manufacturers who are tending to favour orders of 100m²/> I have other things to take care of too, so they may also crop up in my line of enquiry - e.g. I've devised a means of using a composite panel that I will make myself so I can partition the space into a number of configurations, ultimately this would make a great modular building concept, but I will be seeing how this goes first before I consider that. And then it will depend largely on how well that space is equipped or whether it is worth getting a commercial unit to operate from in that capacity, then how much interest there would be within the confines of just a 'garden building' category or if it would only have viability as a broadly compatible system used indoors and out, both at home and for commercial use, which obviously means aesthetics and security weighing more heavily on the basic concept... In the first instance though, three stages of sourcing and installing the roofing - low pitch roofs, one at each end of the build, then a central space with steeper double pitch roof to bring it all together - a good way off in terms of completion, but I'm always sourcing for it until it's done, so worth mentioning from the outset... Please to meet you all :)
