  1. Redoing a lean to shed against third party wall to turn into office. It has a 20 degree pitch. 2m x 5.6m. Current tile felt has failed and it’s leaking, it’s probably 20 years old so stripping and re doing. Looking at either 50mm warm roof or keeping current rafters and putting some insulation between as don’t want to raise the height. final finished options are. Felt, rubber or looking at these tin options as walls will be black clad so may go well with it https://www.cladco.co.uk/sheets/32-1000-box-profile-0-7-pvc-plastisol-coated-roof-sheet however will it be noisy if it rains? what other cost effective options are there. The ridge will be chased into third party wall with lead.
  2. Looking at black heads too, but liking the look of this too— hidden fixings; https://www.russwood.co.uk/fixings/products/fassadenclip/ Although looks like I have to have the special cut clad to make it work.
  3. Thanks. So I assume I have to double batten? Vertical and Horizontal leaving a 40mm - 50mm air flow gap from member to cladding? How do you typically finish the top/edge on side without gutter? Want a clean square edge as possible.
  4. Hi, I’ve got a 3 sided workshop butter to neighbour stone wall. looking to convert to office, want to black vertical clad it but on a budget and there looks to be many many different products for this and methods. any recommendations would be good. roughly 2m x 6m and 2.5m height. To save material I was look at 10mm shadow gaps but I guess this puts the membrane at risk of damage, so is board on board better for rain damage but uses more material? what sort of costs am I looking at here? Thanks
