Thanks for the advice Big Jimbo. Do you think it could be Historical when the house was built in the 50’s as slate was used back then?

Hi, does anyone know if this could be an Historic damp proof course from when the house was built in the 1950,s or so. Or is there a chance it could be more recent, say last 15-20 years? Thinking of buying a house and the home owner says no damp since been living there for last 10 years. thanks
