At risk of causing a civil war in here, if you was to build your own place from scratch (and ignoring budget and install time) would you use MLCP or copper piping throughout the house? (and if copper, soldering or press fit?)

Ahh I see now, looks good, from what I’ve seen I’m impressed with the whole Thermohouse system

Did you create a void at the apex to run the lighting, mvhr (assuming you have it) etc through? So there’s no need for ridge beams etc with this system? (if it falls under certain spans)

How are you guys finding the Thermoroof (and Thermohouse in general) a year on from previous posts in this thread? Any issues such as leaks, condensation etc? also what are the acoustic dampening levels like compared alternatives like blown in cellulose, sips etc?

I’m curious, when they installed your UFH, did they separate the rooms into different zones, or is the whole slab being treated as one single zone?

Good morning, after lurking around this forums fountain of knowledge for a year or so and spending the last few years researching ways to improve our home and also researching for the long term goal of a self build, I thought it was time I joined the party and made myself visible!
