  1. hello, no visible cracks on the inside... but there is the damp on the ground floor. I'll look for some quotes for SEs/for structural surveys and see what i can find. Thanks guys
  2. Hello, We have had an offer accepted on this property and will be conducting some renovations when we complete. On second viewing we noticed a few areas that had been re-pointed and some minor cracking on one of the corners of the property. These are only hairline cracks, one follows the mortar line and through a brick. I do have some pictures which I have attached. This also ties in with some historic damp on the other side of the wall, which doesn't seem wet now but clearly was at some point in time (maybe just condensation). There are also some other areas that have been repointed at some point in the past as they stand out, just wondering if this looks alarming in any way. The most serious cracking is coming from the bottom sill of the bedroom. Would you be worried or going and spending money on a structural survey? I think its highly likely this will be rendered or wood clad when finished so wont be seen. I couldn't see any evidence of cracking on the inside, although this was wall papered. Couldn’t attach all photos so they are here https://imgur.com/a/VDW4LB7 Thanks for the advice in advance!
