  1. So juat solar production figure ATM can only get values for today,this week,this month ,this year and total. So for example next month I won't be able to see acurate production figures for this month. As ATM my dashboard says 40kwh for this month but adding the strings up in the layout gives me 55kwh.
  2. Hello, Finally got my battery up and running . The installer did my profile to charge with my Octopus Go tariff but he set the reserve to 10% which he said was to do with the warranty. I did a bit of reasearch and wasn't convinced so I spoke to SE who took the reserve off saying the battery has a hidden 4% reserve anyway. Another thing is my production figures are all over the place foor example now on my dash board it says today I've produced 1.39kwh on my layout the inverter says 10.92kwh and the strings say 1.61kwh and 820wh. I think adding the strings together is the actual amount. I spoke to SE who said they were aware of the problem and working on a fix. So I thought I would check is everyone having this problem ? Also I did put my name forward to beta test the customer battery control addition to the app.

  4. Had my solar installed a couple of months ago rather than wait for the battery. Which hopefully should be coming soon. Spoke to my installer he says you can ask him or SE to change profile. So will probably just have to suck it up until SE come up with a solution if ever.
  5. Looking at the how to open an installers account looks like you need a serial number of an inverter that has not been registered on the monitoring system. I guess that would mean removing my existing system and setting it up on my account. Not sure what complications that would cause with doing the layout and warranty. As well as the fact I'm just joe public so maybe shouldn't be messing with stuff I don't understand.
  6. when I get mine installed it will be OK as I'm on octopus Go and will want to charge it from 00:30 to 4:30 . I'm just thinking in the future that might change and I don't think on relying on my installer to change it is sustainable. Might ask my installer if there is an alternative I assume he could off load my SE battery onto someone else it just if there is anything else available.
  7. Spoke to SE and the they are working on the customer being able to change the charge profiles hopefully by the end of the year
  8. Although that thread is even more over my head I would say he as access to the installer portal. Seems a bit ridiculous to me that the owner can't change when they want to charge and discharge. Do you think SE will change this or will I be stuck with it ?
  9. Sorry for being stupid but assuming the installer doesn't give me access to his portal which I would doubt he would, how do I change things myself after install say if I changed tariff ?
  10. Hello, Most of this thread goes over my head but I am having an Energybank installed in a few weeks (hopefully). From what I have read will I need admin access to alter the charging profiles ? As I am on Octopus GO and would like to charge it over night in the winter and probably not in the summer. Basically have a bit of control I assumed this was going to be done via the app is this not the case.

Found a WhatsApp number and got through to support and got this answer " Both inverter and battery are compatible and working great" then this "but there is a small issue" then "the 8KW inverter is still in testing with the battery and not released for support yet" then "if you wish you can get them installed , they will work" I also asked when they were arriving ang they said as batch has arrived in the EU warehouse not sure if that means any will make it across the channel.
  12. My inverter might be being installed on Friday , although there probably not much I can do about it as inverters are probably like rocking horse poo at the moment and my 8Kw system could have a 6kw inverter but getting one may be a problem.
  13. Unfortunately that email address is no longer monitored and I think to use the support portal you need to have a SE system.
  14. Hello, Is there any update on this ? As I'm having Solar fitted on 22/7 which was supposed to include the energy bank but there seems to have been a delay on that until at least end of August . The issue is the installer is planning on using a 8KW SE inverter so I'm a bit concerned when the battery does turn up it won't work. Any news would be much appreciated,
