Evening Got the new panels 6 x dmarc 410w Now have another problem as they may not have enough voltage to kick start my 2 sunnyboy inverters. Didn't kick in between 3 and 4 on a dull day. Is a new inverter the answer?

I thought that 100 each was ok. Change of anyway 6 420 will fit the roof better so going with them.

That was from ovo. But they advised to check with ofgem who said what they say is not legally binding however as long as all the plant is not decommissioned up to the grid it should be fine. So a swap for repairs or cosmetic should be ok. It also says this on their website.

Hi We are reroofing so our 2011 panels need to come off and as they are badly fitted and an eyesore we are going in roof. Can anyone help with a solar company who can supply. I can get 8 ja 325w panels for £850 but they cant supply the fittings and mountings . We dont want to pay more than £1500 if possible. Any help appreciated.

Hi It a large timber dormer 4 m in length with a 1.9m set of doors. It will be tiled and was planning to just use rw slabs between joists and rolls of insulation in the loft area up to required amount.

Afternoon all I will be finishing off the dormer, can any one give me an idea if my plan will pass bc. it needs to be done with sound a major problem as on a flight path at certain times. 2 layers of 12mm soundboard staggered, 100mm rw5 in the 120mm frame, 20mm air gap then, decent vapour barrier outside, then celotex to meet u value and breathable membrane , ecoscape composite cladding over the top. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Ok they came out. Said water in expansion tank is not always an issue with viessmamm 100. It was pressured up again with a pump. Prv was ok. Not sure what else he did but said it was not set up correctly for external control which he fixed. Not Sure how that was the main issue as it been fine for 10 months but seems ok now and no pressure loss. So all good.

Viessmann doing it next week under warranty after I explained the issue. Cheers all

The grey drain hose drips but i believe it is shared with the condensate drain so im not sure.

Maybe, just insure why im osing pressure when inam ot getting the telltail high pressure associated with u/s expansion tank.

Ok. Still loosing pressure and water present in the expansion tank when shreger valve tested. Dont have any high pressure issues apparent as is normal. I think something may have happened in the summer as shower wouldn't get warm one morning an found the system pressure was zero from about 1.3 bar a few days before.
