Hi everyone, I have been looking at putting wood flooring on our first floor and have fell in love with Sycamore. I have found one provider of engineered sycamore and a few different providors for solid wood boards - including tongue and groove machined. The solid flooring is about 1/2 the price of the engineered. We would be doing around 70 metres so this difference has a huge impact on the overall budget!! This will be going onto a plywood subfloor with no underfloor heating and no plan soon to install underfloor heating. Is putting down solid wood, tongue and groove with glue just a whole hassel that I should pay my way out of by going for engineered? Thoughts/opinions/tips all greatly appreciated :)
