Ed_ Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I'm finding some references to needing to submit a commencement notice to the LPA when I commence my build, but for my LPA (surrey) I can't find any suggestion it is needed or how I should do it. There is no CIL here. Do I need to submit a notice? Shall I just email them?

awk Posted August 14 Posted August 14 It’s currently done at the Borough level, so Runnymede BC (NW Surrey) definitely charge CIL - not sure what happens when West Surrey becomes a unitary authority. suggest you check your Borough planning portal for current situation. 1
