Solar aon a sandwich panel roof.

Hi, we purchased our current self build house 4 years ago. It has an air source heat pump but no solar panels. 

The roof construction is two sheets of galvanised steel with 6" (I think) insulation in between, topped by 600mm x 300mm x4mm tiles.

Has anyone been able to add solar panels to such a roof?
