Patio advice

Hi I am looking to build a patio, at the furthest point from the house this will be raised about 60mm from the lawn increasing to 110mm where it meets the house (3m depth) 

 

 This will mean having having 3 facing edges so to speak. Which I also propose to use porcelain tile strips for

 

 if I use full body porcelain tiles, which I understand means the colour / texture runs all the way through the tile will the 90 degree join look ok? Or would it be advisable to use some profile trim like genesis or porcelain quick?
