cmb
As a practical person I prefer to undertake maintenance myself rather than outsource where it is feasible. I want to refurbish my Harvey h2o arc water softener. This will entail changing the resin ion exchange media. However, the manufacturer (Harvey) seem unwilling to tell the spec of the resin or quantity in one these water softeners. They have advised to return the product for an exchange (£1400 plse) and they will throw away the unit and upgrade to a newer design. This type of product is not covered by the "right to repair" legislation unfortunately. So, I can not demand the information (type and quantity) of resin beads needed. That being the case does anyone know what I need?
