Loft Conversion - Planning and Builders Quotes

Hi, planning to do a loft conversion and have the drawings completed from an. architectL Loft conversion is on a 4 bedroom detached property, with installation requiring a staircase within one of the bedrooms, and then addition of 2 bedrooms, bathroom and storage space Plans for building regulations have been drawn up, with requirement for a structural engineer and quote for building of the conversion 

 

Does anyone have a good template or list of common questions to ask from a builder as we get quotes? And potentially any project  planning templates for stuff we'll need to manage?
