junglejim
This is what I’m thinking at the moment so wanted to check for advice… The vent strip seems a bit unnecessary but think it might be something that BC want to see. Any thoughts/feedback welcome
TommoUK
You need ventilation at the eaves and the ridge (eg. dry ridge system etc). I don't think you need a vented soffit and the vent strip. I think it's either/or.. but check with regs.

Because the roof is a cassette system sheathed in OSB I need to ensure airflow between rafters (soffit vent) and also above the osb and membrane (between counter battens) hence the over fascia vent being above the drip tray. Or at least that’s my understanding.
TommoUK
...is this cassette a war roof or cold roof? I think you need to look at the interstitial condensation and also the thermal bridging. ask the manufacturer for the junction detail?
