rah212
Hello everyone, I hope someone may be able to advise me please. A lady has asked me if I can lay 2.2m x 3.6m worth of chipboard flooring in her bungalow loft. Im thinking there may be too much weight on the joists as its a truss roof system ? Am I over thinking it? Possibly use loft legs instead of timbers to raise the flooring up 150mm to get over the double layer of insulation plus to save weight on the joists? Then lay 18mm 600 x 2400mm chipboard flooring on top ? I would really appreciate anyones time and advise. Many thanks in advance
