Lodgemike
Hello everyone. We are nearing the end of a very extended new build and are trying to sort out some final problems. Firstly the drive, I am aware of the disabled access requirements and I am trying to decide on a suitable way to do this. Ideally I would like the drive level with the threshold (bar surface water flow) and realise I can do this with a 'trench' 150mm deep and 200mm from the wall. However the house is timber frame and the wall is a decorative one of only 10 or so courses. There is a cavity behind and it is in essence free standing. Do building regs apply here as it is irrelevant from a damp point of view if this wall is wet or not?
