Developing plots in rural Argyll, Scotland

Hello All,

 

 

I purchased some land in Argyll, near the village of Kilchrenan, in 2019. It's for a family home.

 

COVID etc has delayed development, which we hope will be starting soon.

 

There are a couple of areas of ground that abut the main site. I am making enquiries with estate agents to see if these would be of interest to the market.

 

In the meantime, I'm looking to instal the services, gain planning permission etc on these parcels of land as we continue the development journey for our family home.

 

I am here to find out more about the process of building my own home, to ensure that I make as few mistakes as possible. Additionally, I'm also interested in finding out more about what is important to the self-build community more generally, so that we consider the main factors when preparing the sites and planning permission for the plots.
