Suspended ground floor booming noise

Problem with a suspended ground floor in a small room. For some reason its really bass and boomy sounding when you stomp on it, seems like the whole room is resonating and acting like a giant drum being hit.

The walls are solid though so that's good. Any Ideas or am I looking at a big job to cure this ?
