Kitchen Renovation!

Hi everyone! 
I’m here to ask for some help and suggestions to fix little bits and bops left undone, or not Dina to my standards from the people we hired to install our new kitchen! 
 

first: any recommendations on what I could buy to box in the canopy extractor fan exhaust? Unfortunately it’s doesn’t come down straight from the ceiling. 
 

second: any recommended videos and product for DIY timing of kitchen wall? Unfortunately some times had to come off, I didn’t have matching ones so they left me with holes and said they will come back to fix it. They cost me £1550 for 2 days of work, I’m not planning to give them another penny and I rather fix it myself as they were really unreliable. My mistake as I should have got a breakdown of the initial quote.
